Ballet Camp (x2)

Last week the girls went to Ballet Camp at the city rec center. Nothing serious, but way fun for the girls!! This was LK’s first time to go to ballet (since she’s finally 3) and it was just as magnificent as she anticipated it being. The last day Keith and I attended their “performance.” OH! It was the cutest sweetest thing. They had a little improv time where they picked their own Disney song and created their own dance. Too bad I didn’t have the video camera. Neither LK nor Emma have stage fright!! They were “owning” the stage- hee.

Cinderella Ballet Performance

Emma LOVES, LOVES ballet! I joke I don’t take her to practice, she takes me! When she is not at ballet she’s @ home all dressed up teaching LK the moves and choreographing her own “show.”

 

 

I don’t have pictures of everyone but Aunt Teresa, Nanny, Gran Gran, Dede, Pop and Daddy,Mommy & Lilly Kate were all at the performance cheering EM on. Also, Em’s sweet teacher Ms. Himmelwright was there watching and brought her the yellow rose.

 

Not sure how this picture got here but it was from Mother’s day. I’ll leave it so you can see my big girls being sweet.

I’m home!

I’m now home with the girls full time. (Yes, I do pinch myself at times :))
The girls are loving me being here and we’ve kept busy! Of course, we had a wonderful Christmas, Emma had her first ballet recital. Campbell is sitting up, eating baby food, babbling dadada, and was dedicated. Keith and I even got a weekend away for the Auburn bowl game in Tampa and had a blast! If you are visiting there, call me for 2 of the BEST places to eat that you’ll want to try.


Campbell is almost 7 mos, weighing in at a healthy 17 1/2 lbs!! She has had 4 or 5 ear infections in the past 6mos. So… we’re getting tubes placed on Wed. Say a prayer for her (and momma!). Of course, she isn’t sleeping very well at night due to the ear infections but she’s still one of the happiest babies I’ve seen. Her sisters love her to pieces! Sooo sweet..

Next month, Lilly Kate is starting a new preschool one day a week and one of my dearest friends will be her teacher 🙂 She’s not real sure about it, but I know she’ll soon love it. She has been waking up from nap telling me stories about “school” that day (poor thing is just daydreaming b/c she’s been with me all day).

"A Whole New World"

Picture Em dancing to Alladin’s A whole new world in the center of her entire class. I know NOTHING about dance, but I was informed that this is called improv and teaches them self confidence in front of an audience. I was soo proud of her (and pregnant, hormonal & teary eyed :O) Unfortunately, These pics are not good at all. I went wayyy wrong not buying an SLR when I bought my camera (I was worried it was too bulky and that I wouldn’t carry it.)

 

After the very first lesson, LK and I were waiting in the lobby and Emma runs out and says “Lilly Kate, do your feet like this! (LK quickly imitates her) Good Job Lilly Kate, now that is first position.” Ha. Lilly Kate runs around the lobby while Em is in class saying “I unna (want to)ballet!!”

Em is in heaven b/c right now her dream in life is to be a princess. Remember about a year ago she told me she couldn’t go to Auburn when she grew up b/c there are no castles there. So… she’ll have to live in Disney World 🙂
